Marleen Leitner is the founder of Studio ASYNCHROME (established 2013), a space where art, architecture, and thought intersect.
She studied architecture at TU Graz, graduating with distinction under Prof. Hans Kupelwieser, and expanded her practice through studies at the Academy for Applied Photography in Graz. Currently, she continues her academic journey with postgraduate studies in Art and Economy at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.
Marleen work has been recognized with numerous scholarships and awards, including the Outstanding Artist Award and international residencies in Trieste and Budapest.
She is a member of FORUM STADTPARK, serves on the advisory board of the <rotor> center for contemporary art, and is part of Schaumbad – Freies Atelierhaus Graz.
Her works are represented in collections such as KULTUM Graz, the Universalmuseum Joanneum, the City of Graz, and the Austrian Architecture Museum Vienna.
In addition to her artistic practice, she has shared her knowledge as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture at TU Graz.
