Professor of instrumental and vocal pedagogy at the Lübeck University of Music.
Prof. Dr. Corinna Eikmeier studied violoncello, improvisation and contemporary music. In addition to her music studies, she completed a Feldenkrais course. From 2007-2009 she was a scholarship holder of the Dorothea Erxleben Program with a project on Feldenkrais and improvisation. She completed her doctorate on the subject of “Movement quality and music-making practice. On the relationship between the Feldenkrais method and musical improvisation”. In the 2017/2018 academic year, she was a visiting professor at BTU Cottbus/Senftenberg for music education. She has been a professor of instrumental and vocal pedagogy at the Lübeck University of Music since 2020.
