Franz Schmuck is a sound artist, performer and instrument maker. His scrap instruments are created from found materials, everyday objects and industrial remnants – transformed into sonic sculptures between music and visual art. In his performances, raw materiality meets fine acoustic intuition, improvisation meets mechanics, rhythm meets chance. Schmuck’s works invite you to listen with your whole body – direct, experimental and full of humor.
Mariam Gosibat is an interdisciplinary artist from Munich who, among other disciplines, completed a master class in ceramic art at the Ortweinschule in Graz. In her artistic practice, she combines elements from ancient cultures with contemporary social issues. She works with various techniques such as drawing, cyanotype, etching, and interactive methods, but her primary medium is ceramics.
A central concern of her work is to make art accessible to everyone. For Mariam, art is not only a means of personal expression, but also a social instrument: she sees artistic creation as an essential part of human coexistence, as an opportunity to open up new perspectives and create spaces for exchange.
